Users who understand the risks of cyber-attacks are more likely to actively mitigate potential risks through their own actions. As such, the goal of this course is to raise awareness and promote a better understanding of how our daily actions affect the overall security of the organization and its clients.
This introduction to cyber threats and security concepts showcases common threats and ways to mitigate risks. It includes a discussion of basic concepts such as confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems and data, encryption and its uses in our daily actions, application-level threats and risks, email-based attacks, and social engineering.
